Automation Integration Solution - Gantry Robot Automation System for Automotive Component Manufacturing



The internal grinding machine and honing machine are arranged in a straight line, and automatic loading and unloading is realized by one single gantry manipulator, which is simple and efficient. The manipulator automatically clamps the workpieces on the pallet in sequence and places them back after processing without manual intervention throughout the whole process.



This integrated equipment integrates feeding, inspection, rejection and flux coating processes for tin soldering. The feeding station adopts 100% automatic visual error-proof inspection. It can replace manual coating and quality inspection work, effectively guaranteeing product quality.


The equipment consists of double-station sliding table, one eight-axis drilling gantry robot, two drill bit detection mechanisms and safety guard nets. Equipped with dual manipulators and double stations, the eight-axis drilling gantry robot can drill four holes at a time with high working efficiency. It is featured with drill breakage detection function to ensure product quality.


Two sets of sliding table fixtures are used to fix two pairs of workpieces for foam pasting and lock nut assembly respectively. The six-axis robot undertakes foam pasting and nut pressing operations at dual stations, delivering high production efficiency. Nuts are automatically fed by vibration plates with no manual intervention required.

This automatic production line for connecting rod machining is reconstructed for automatic line connection based on three existing on-site customer equipments, namely laser grooving machine, connecting rod fracturing machine and bolt tightening machine. Meanwhile, deburring air blowers, fracture surface slag removal devices and post-tightening product inspection units are newly added. After renovation, the production line has reached the world advanced level.




It realizes full-automatic detection of slag falling and assembly misalignment on fractured surfaces of connecting rods. Integrated with multiple functions such as flipping, cleaning, inspection and visual detection, the equipment features small floor occupation and high working efficiency.

Four-station automated inline connection for grooving, fracturing, slag removal and bolt tightening equipment is realized. Equipped with high-speed three-axis gantry manipulators and auxiliary transport vehicles, the whole process is unmanned with short cycle time, high efficiency and low cost, which effectively enhances customers' core competitiveness.
